Introduction

The Department of Urban Engineering was established in 1962, and the Graduate School Programs started in 1966. The department is composed of an urban planning course and an urban environmental engineering course. Around 120 undergraduate students and 170 graduate students, including 50 international students, are currently enrolled.

  • Yan Tung Lo (Ph.D candidate) received Best Oral Presentation Award at The 14th International Symposium on Southeast Asian Water Environment (SEAWE-14).
  • Professor Kumiko Oguma recieved the JSWE New Technology Award.
  • A research group, including Dr. Torii and Professor Kitajima, received the Best Research Award at the 8th International Society for Food and Environmental Virology Conference.
  • Vu Thi My Hanh (Ph.D candidate) won the best poster award at 7th Environmental Dimension of Antimicrobial Resistance.
